The Play Hard Hoops 2021/22 Winter League will return to its regular format this coming season after running scrimmage pods for over 200 boys and girls players in adjusting to the health measures for 2020-21. This year, individuals are placed into balanced teams across each division for a full league season of 13 weeks. The first two weeks will be skills focused with an evaluation period to place players within their teams. PHH preseason games will be played in December with regular season league play beginning in January.

All leagues will have a 20-35 minute skills and game concepts portion to further enhance our players' development and understanding of the game. This will be followed by two 20 minute halves with our PHH coaches assigned to teach+direct gameplay for the team.

WINTER LEAGUE HISTORY

The City Winter League had approximately 230 registered players in 2020-21 (maintaining a safe environment through the Covid adjustments) and has featured consistent quality in regular seasons and playoff competition in prior years

WINTER LEAGUE DETAILS:

-Teams will have no more than 9 Players 

-Balanced, Competitive Teams 

-Equal Playing Time On # Rotation System 

-Play Minimum 10 Games btwn preseason, regular season, and playoffs

Regular Season+Playoffs Dates: January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13 (playoffs), 27 (playoffs), March 6 (championship day)

4th-6th Grade Girls: 12:00-1:25PM

2nd-3rd Grade Girls: 1:30-2:55PM

3rd-4th Grade Boys: 3:00-4:25PM
